If
you have Java Swing installed you can run the DAC directly by clicking on this
link:

If you don’t have swing you have two options:
1.
Run the DAC with all the Swing classes included, ( 2.5 Mb to download each time
you start the DAC). If you want to do it like that, click on this link:
DAC (all swing classes included).
2.
Download the JDK1.2.2 from Sun and follow the instructions from the "Make your browser Swing" document, (6 Mb you only have to download once).
Notice
This is only a prototype of a Java Client for the Digital Atlas so the layout is ugly and it there are a lot bugs. Be sure to check out the Quizzes though.
